At Mesh.ai, a funding round isn’t mistaken for success but celebrated nonetheless as it gives us the means to relentlessly pursue our mission - a world where performance management truly enables people to grow to their full potential at work.

We’re extremely grateful to our existing investors - RTP Global, Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator Continuity for believing in our mission and doubling down on us. It’s also exciting to bring on board renowned angels as part of this round. While we’re just getting started, we couldn’t have reached even this far without our early customers, beloved team, and investors for their support as we reimagine performance management for humans!

Why we started Mesh

Companies today comprise of people that work from anywhere, form teams on-demand and self manage. But, they are still stuck with traditional performance reviews, which are hated by everyone involved, are a huge driver of attrition and ironically do nothing to actually improve people or business performance.

While most platforms continue to focus on more elaborate review forms, Mesh carries the long term vision of killing top-down performance reviews completely. We do so via transparent goals, continuous feedback & coaching conversations. Mesh increases data-backed self-awareness and nudges growth behaviors in the flow of work.

Our growth journey

We’re proud of how far we’ve come. Mesh was formed during COVID when remote work had just started becoming the new normal and companies were looking for a better way to manage their distributed workforce. 

In 2021 we focused on making performance reviews loved once again. A huge shoutout to our early believers and adopters who believed in our vision and helped us co-build our product.

Looking ahead, we will endeavor to increase the prevalence of continuous conversations, i.e. goal check-ins, feedback, and 1:1s, to eventually kill performance reviews completely. 

In the last year, Mesh has:

  • Grown 16 times in revenue, at an over 29% CMGR.
  • Been loved by 1000+ teams from across 6 continents.
  • Been awarded the Best HRTech Startup Award by Entrepreneur, as well as the NASSCOM Emerge 50 Award.
  • Gone from 10 to 42 in headcount, with employees working remotely across the US, UK, Czech Republic, and India.
  • Clients who have experienced 32% faster goal achievement, 14% higher retention, and 28% better eNPS. 

What’s next for Mesh

Looking to the future, we’re more thrilled than ever. With the new funding, we’re looking to scale our team to help us build a remote-hybrid culture and truly world-class product.
